"Here at Grandma's Little Pearls you will find a wide variety of kid tested and grandma approved activities, traditions, and resources that are sure to enrich the lives of grandchildren and grandparents alike. One of my daughters who is the mother of four of my ten grandchildren said it should be; "grandma tested and kid approved!" Either way we are building strong bonds and lasting memories that are
a priceless treasure to us all."

Gingerbread House Ornament

These little gingerbread houses turned out so cute! I had pre-painted the wood cutouts using gingerbread brown paint. I had also wrote the children's names on the backs before craft time. I supplied the kids with a sample house and all kinds of Christmas stickers. I was unable to find small candy stickers like I had hoped but I think they turned out just as cute. They added white paint using a Q-tip to create a snowy rooftop and chimney. A Piece of white yarn was used to create a hanger.
