Shelley I love your "Grandma's Little Pearls" you are so inspiring with all your ideas for Grandmas! I have 5 grandchildren in Tennessee I haven't gotten to see - saw 2, 10 years ago. They are 3 - 11 years old. And one coming in June! It would be really special to have a book with my voice for them to enjoy always but especially til I finally get to visit in person. I actually thought about the idea of the Hallmark recordable book but it is beyond my butget, this year for sure.ReplyDelete
Thanks for the inspiration - love your nativity! Keep up the good work!
I would love to be able to get a recordable book for all eight of my grandchildren. We read books everyday and they read in the school library and bring books home from there. They are all in the AR (accelerated reading program) at school and get awards for it also. I tell them they can travel to where ever they want to and be what ever they want to be by reading and the knowledge they will gain by picking up a book and reading. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the opportunity to get one of these books. Like everyone else our money is short and raising two of our grandchildren has made it even lesser but we have gained a lot more love, hugs and kisses. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR...ReplyDelete
I would love it if my grandchildren were able to end each day listening to me read to them even though they live 3 hours away. Thank you for informing me about these books; and thank you for this give away and a chance to win one.ReplyDelete
Oh, I love these books, and have always wanted to get one. Now maybe I can! Love your blog.ReplyDelete
Shelley, thank you for offering this give away. What a great gift for a grandchild or other loved little one :-) I am very excited to hear about the giant lunch sack activity!!! Please tell !!! GayleReplyDelete
I would love to record these for my children! Great giveway!ReplyDelete
I'm still a follower!ReplyDelete
Your site popped up this morning when I searched for recordable books, I am delighted to receive information about both site and book. I hope to start a collection of these books for my grandchildren. These books will make fantastic books for grandchildren. Books are so important in young lives and the fact that they are recorded by someone close to the children makes the experience that much better. P.A.B.ReplyDelete
We recorded one of these for my grandaughters and gave it to them early. They absolutely loved it. We want to do a few more for the grandkiddos who live far away :)ReplyDelete
Anonymous, I am very glad you came upon my blog. I need your contact info in case you win one of the books! My email address is in the post above.ReplyDelete
This "MeeMee" is not very knowledgeable about all the profile options, but I'm learning! I sent an email with the information. Is it possible to receive email news? I'd love to receive a newsletter from Grandma's Little Pearls. Thanks, P.A.B.
My grandson is in TN and I am in WI. Don't get to see him nearly enough. I'd love him to hear Grandma's voice whenever he opens the book. Thanks for this opportunity. MaryReplyDelete
Love those recordable books. I bought 4 last year for my 4 grandchildren, The Night Before Christmas. This year my husband is reading Frosty for them. I am always glad to buy them with a coupon, they are expensive, but worth every penny. I would love to have a book with my grandmas' voices on them!! My Hallmark is out of The Very First Christmas so would be so fun to win a copy. That's to be our next one.ReplyDelete
You always come up with the neatest things! Of course I would love to win one of the books!
The grand-camp looks like fun. We'll have to try it sometime. We only have 14 so that will be fun. A recordable story book looks a really good idea. Thanks for posting this. I love your blog, too.ReplyDelete
I would love to have one of these for my grandson!ReplyDelete
A book read by a grandmother. I was not so lucky to have one in my growing up. As a grandma who is firmly planted in the lives of her grandchildren, I applaud Hallmark for this wonderful book. Reinforced love at every turn of the page. Memory after memory every Christmas. Surely Santa must be the creative director at Hallmark. Thank you for this opportunity, Shelly.ReplyDelete
A wonderful gesture in the season when giving should be uppermost in our minds.ReplyDelete
What a great idea! Would love this for my faraway grandchildren.ReplyDelete
I would love to win one of these. This is one of the neatest ideas ever. I want to gain a collection over the years for my boys.ReplyDelete
I just became a follower too.
Oh, I would love to get one of these books for my granddaughter. I have not seen one of these recording books before. My granddaughter lives about 100 miles from me and I don't get to see her often but when I do she loves for me to read to her. I love your blog and you have some great ideas!ReplyDelete
Grandma Shelly, What a wonderful way these books would be for the Grandchildren to remember Grandparents who are no longer with them. To hear the stories read to them by a special Grandma for years to come. I would love to win one of these books. I'm 73 and have two little Granddaughters ages 4 1/2 yrs and one six months old. It would beReplyDelete
a wonderful legacy to leave.
I too would cherish the sound of my grandmothers voices (although if I close my eyes and try hard I can almost hear each of them) and wish these books were around when I was a child. I am expecting (not me, but my daughter-in-law) my first grandchild in April. I would love to win one of these books! Please enter me in the drawing!!! Thank you! L.KampsReplyDelete
The deadline for posting to win is nearing. Please make sure that I have your contact info. E mail me if you don't want to post it here.ReplyDelete
What a perfect prize for a grandparent to send to their grandchildren; and they are so expensive at Hallmark, many low income grandparents like I am cannot afford to buy one.ReplyDelete
Not only is your gift a wonderful way to stay connected to far away family, but it's a great way to share the true story of Christmas with the grandchildren. Thank you Shelley
I have just spent the past thirty minutes checking out your site and your pinterest site and am an awe right now!! I love so many things on here. I lead a preschool group at our church twice a month and am planning on using your nativity craft idea from above for our next craft. It is so cute and perfect for the ages of the kids in our group. Thank you! I am a fan now!!ReplyDelete
thanks for the chanceReplyDelete
I sent one to my sailor's baby

Thank you for contributing your beautiful mind and heart so that we too can share in special moment with our precious children. Thank you also for the fantastic giveaway! Every child should hear the true meaning of Christmas and what better way to hear the story from their Grandma's voice!ReplyDelete
