This beautiful children's book is an absolute gem!

It would make a priceless gift for any child who loves you.

true meaning of Christmas.

This year we made a nativity craft.

my grandma's voice even today!

Hallmark has a wide selection of recordable books.

  2. Shelley I love your "Grandma's Little Pearls" you are so inspiring with all your ideas for Grandmas! I have 5 grandchildren in Tennessee I haven't gotten to see - saw 2, 10 years ago. They are 3 - 11 years old. And one coming in June! It would be really special to have a book with my voice for them to enjoy always but especially til I finally get to visit in person. I actually thought about the idea of the Hallmark recordable book but it is beyond my butget, this year for sure.

Thanks for the inspiration - love your nativity! Keep up the good work!

    Merry Christmas,

  3. I would love to be able to get a recordable book for all eight of my grandchildren. We read books everyday and they read in the school library and bring books home from there. They are all in the AR (accelerated reading program) at school and get awards for it also. I tell them they can travel to where ever they want to and be what ever they want to be by reading and the knowledge they will gain by picking up a book and reading. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the opportunity to get one of these books. Like everyone else our money is short and raising two of our grandchildren has made it even lesser but we have gained a lot more love, hugs and kisses. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR...

  8. Your site popped up this morning when I searched for recordable books, I am delighted to receive information about both site and book. I hope to start a collection of these books for my grandchildren. These books will make fantastic books for grandchildren. Books are so important in young lives and the fact that they are recorded by someone close to the children makes the experience that much better. P.A.B.

  11. Grandma Shelley,
This "MeeMee" is not very knowledgeable about all the profile options, but I'm learning! I sent an email with the information. Is it possible to receive email news? I'd love to receive a newsletter from Grandma's Little Pearls. Thanks, P.A.B.

  13. Love those recordable books. I bought 4 last year for my 4 grandchildren, The Night Before Christmas. This year my husband is reading Frosty for them. I am always glad to buy them with a coupon, they are expensive, but worth every penny. I would love to have a book with my grandmas' voices on them!! My Hallmark is out of The Very First Christmas so would be so fun to win a copy. That's to be our next one.

  15. The grand-camp looks like fun. We'll have to try it sometime. We only have 14 so that will be fun. A recordable story book looks a really good idea. Thanks for posting this. I love your blog, too.

  17. A book read by a grandmother. I was not so lucky to have one in my growing up. As a grandma who is firmly planted in the lives of her grandchildren, I applaud Hallmark for this wonderful book. Reinforced love at every turn of the page. Memory after memory every Christmas. Surely Santa must be the creative director at Hallmark. Thank you for this opportunity, Shelly.

  21. Oh, I would love to get one of these books for my granddaughter. I have not seen one of these recording books before. My granddaughter lives about 100 miles from me and I don't get to see her often but when I do she loves for me to read to her. I love your blog and you have some great ideas!

    Thanks,

  22. Grandma Shelly, What a wonderful way these books would be for the Grandchildren to remember Grandparents who are no longer with them. To hear the stories read to them by a special Grandma for years to come. I would love to win one of these books. I'm 73 and have two little Granddaughters ages 4 1/2 yrs and one six months old. It would be
    a wonderful legacy to leave.

  23. I too would cherish the sound of my grandmothers voices (although if I close my eyes and try hard I can almost hear each of them) and wish these books were around when I was a child. I am expecting (not me, but my daughter-in-law) my first grandchild in April. I would love to win one of these books! Please enter me in the drawing!!! Thank you! L.Kamps

  25. What a perfect prize for a grandparent to send to their grandchildren; and they are so expensive at Hallmark, many low income grandparents like I am cannot afford to buy one.
Not only is your gift a wonderful way to stay connected to far away family, but it's a great way to share the true story of Christmas with the grandchildren. Thank you Shelley
